Our evaluations for Epilepsy, Complex Neurologic Conditions, Genetic Disorders, and other childhood developmental or medical conditions provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of cognitive, behavioral, academic, and emotional functioning. These evaluations are designed for children and adolescents with known or suspected neurological or medical conditions that may impact brain development, including epilepsy, seizure disorders, genetic syndromes, metabolic conditions, and other complex medical diagnoses affecting cognition and behavior.
Using evidence-based testing and individualized clinical interpretation, we assess key domains such as attention, memory, language, executive functioning, processing speed, visuospatial skills, adaptive functioning, and emotional/behavioral regulation. We also consider how medical factors, treatment effects, fatigue, and developmental history may influence day-to-day functioning and learning.
Our goal is to provide a clear understanding of cognitive strengths and challenges to support accurate diagnosis, medical decision-making, and coordinated care. Evaluation results can inform school accommodations, IEP development, therapy planning, and long-term educational and developmental support. We work closely with families and providers to deliver practical, actionable recommendations that help children achieve the highest possible level of functioning across home, school, and community settings.
